Show Hurricane Miss Audrey Ballard Reporter The Wright brothers, Kenneth and Morris, with their wives arrived ar-rived Sunday from Laford, Ariz., for a few days visit with relatives. Rex Thomas, former Creamy manager, is now foreman in the Hurricane CCC camp. Leonard Tidwell of Salt Lake City was here this week on a business bus-iness trip. Mrs. D. W. Gibson returned Wednesday from a brief visit in Los Angeles. Frank Campbell with the Misses Wealthy Campbell and Thora Spendlove went to Bunkerville Sunday for a brief visit. Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Williams visited Mr. and Mrs. S. L. Pollock Pol-lock of Kanarraville Saturday. The CCC camp situated at Short Creek, was transferred to the Hurricane CCC camp Friday, making the total enrollment 206. Saturday, Mrs. Chloe Beatty, children FFlForence, Violate, Barbara Bar-bara and Lloyd with Misses Med-ra Med-ra Gibson attended the wedding reception of her daughter, Doris, who recently married Jack Leavitt Leav-itt of Mesquite, Nev. Miss Mary Reber spent the week-end in Mesquite visiting friends and relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Jones of Cedar City were, visitors Sunday at the Harry Shamo home. Gerald Gifford joined his wife, Aleath, here Wednesday. He will return to California during the week-end. Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Bradshaw of Cedar City were here Sunday visiting Mr. and Mrs. William Woodbury. Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Judd of Fredonia visited (Friday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George H. Isom. Mrs. May Petty, who has spent the past two months at Reno with her daughter, Mrs. Charles Elie, returned Sunday evening. George Wood of Kanarraville was her Monday on business. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Brown and two daughters left Tuesday for a stay at Grand Canyon. Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Isom of Summit were week-end visitors. The Hurricane chapter of the Alice Louise Reynolds club with their husbands were guests of the St. George chapter at a formal party given Thursday in the new college Recreation hall. Chauncey Sandberg has been appointed on the executive boaid of the civic organization which held a meeting last week in Mil-ford. Mil-ford. Beginning Monday, M. P. Faw-son, Faw-son, Hurricane Hi Type Instructor, Instruc-tor, launched a series of classes for the Hurricane CCC camp. Nineteen students enrolled for Monday beginners' class and 19 for the Tuesday class. Mr. Faw-son Faw-son will also give shorthand training train-ing to those who wish it.
