Show Sophomore Class To Present 'June In January' Saturday The comedy drama, "June In January", which will be presented by the sophomore class of the Dixie junior college to the visiting senior high school groups from Enterprise, Hurricane, Kanab and Orderville on Friday and to the general public the following Wednesday, Wed-nesday, is promised as a real treat to theatre goers. Those familiar with the play say it is filled with rolliking humor and the cast includes a group of capable students, as follows: Inez, the maid, Helen Pectol; Jack Lane, Jack Rencher; Otis Oleander, LaRaine McArthur; Ona, his talkative wife, Lela Sullivan; Sul-livan; Ethel Vandella, very rich, Marian Woodward; Marmaduke, Vandella, her husband, Paul Neil-son; Neil-son; Hazel Barlow, Barbara Ray; June Day, girlish tornado, Jane Pace; Jessie, Berneice Pulsipher; Donna, casino girl, Rita Holt; Gracie, dumb as they come, Helen Fawcett; Alexis, a continental gentleman, D. C. Watson; Jose Pietra, Spanish. Reed Gray, and Oscar Larson, the bashful Swede, Rulon Iverson. The play is a Miami setting in January'. Rudgar McArthur is stage manager. The sophomores are hoping the public will come and see them in "June In January", Janu-ary", on April 22. Sophomore Dance On Friday evening the annual sophomore dance will be held in the Recreation hall. Trie group in charge is making every effort to make this one of the "best sophomore sopho-more dances ever held here", declares de-clares Lela Sullivan, class presi-! presi-! dent. I |
