Show Changes In Fees Charged At Zion-Bryce Announced ZION NATIONAL PARK. Utah-Pursuant Utah-Pursuant to the orders received from Washington, important changes in the fees charged at Zion 'and Eryce Canyon National ; Parks become effective at once, according to an announcement made by Supt. Paul R. Franke. The new entrance Tee schedules and regulations recently released ! by the Secretary of the Interior are part of a general revision affecting af-fecting all national parks and monuments. The new regulations are as follows: Fee for automobile permit $1.00 Fee for motrcycle permit $1.00 Fee for house trailer permit $1.00 The fees charged are for a specific automobile, motorcycle or trailer -and are not transferable to any other equipment. The permits per-mits issued upon payment of the fee are good for both Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks, are valid for the calendar year, and subsequent re-entries during the year are permitted without additional ad-ditional charges. At Zion Park no fee will be charged to residents of Washington Washing-ton and Kane counties, Utah, or residents of that part of Coconino County, Arizona, north and west of the Colorado River, seeking entry to or passage through the park necessary in the conduct of their usual occupation or business, but the fee will be charged when the entry is made primarily to visit the park. At Bryce Canyon National Park no fee will be charged to residents of Garfield or Kane counties, Utah, entering to conduct con-duct their usual occupation or business, but the fee will be charged if the entry is made primarily to visit the park. |
