Show Dixie College Students Taking Wasserman Test About 230 students of the Dixie college will receive the Wasser-man Wasser-man test for Syphilis within the next few weeks. Plans were made for this test during Social Hygiene week' in early February, but it has been impossible to give the tests until now, states Ross Hardy, instructor. About 80 have already been tested and the others will be given the test in the near future. fu-ture. Leonard Cooke is student chairman making arrangements. The idea was originated in the Eugeneics and Genetics class during dur-ing the winter quarter. McGregor, who is donating his services in the interest of the school, states Mr. Hardy. The Utah State Board of Health is analyzing the samples. Of the 80 tested so far, no infections have been found. Students, however, are learning much about the methods of testing-for this disease. |
