Show Over 500 Girls Expected To Participate In Rodeo and Round-Up Here Saturday will mark a big event for the junior college and high school girls of this section, say Miss Analiese Buggert and Miss LaVera McArthur, instructors in charge of the Western Rodeo and Round-up. It is expected 560 girls will participate, more than 300 coming from Cedar City, Las Vegas, Hurricane and Enterprise, the local girls to be hostesses. Miss Berniece Moss, state play supervisor, will be officially in attendance. The committee in charge of the day's activities includes Norma Cox, Roma Reber, Dorothy Jean Coates, Noma Andrus and Beth Gubler. During the forenoon there will be a variety of interesting in-teresting relays, and a wide variety of stunts and special numbers, followed by a noon luncheon. At 1:30 the high school girls of Cedar City will present a dance revue preceding the matinee mati-nee movie. School parents and patrons are invited to witness the events on the public square during the forenoon. |
