Show Student Groups Taking Guide-Tours Around City Student groups of the three St. George schools are taking the guite-tours of the city this week. Wednesday evening the sixth grade of the Elementary school, 35 in number, manifest keen interest in-terest in the historical data, and the background of information regarding re-garding buildings of interest given by Morris Cook, guide. Newell R. Frei, principal of the Woodward high school, plans to take his advanced history class this, (Thursday) evening, and a group from the Dixie college, under H. L. Reid, will take a later date. Other classes from the three schools accompanied by their teachers, are booking tours for the coming week, and local clubs are sponsoring the Saturday Satur-day evening tour. The committee in charge, who met at the stake office with W. W. McArthur, chairman, Tuesday evening, reported satisfaction thus far with the outlook. Some little changes were suggested for the route of the tour, and other matters mat-ters of business covered. |
