Show Enterprise Mrs. Theresa Huntsman Ke porter TUr. and Mrs. Alfred Barlocker are at home after having spent the winter in St. George working in the Temple. 1'I. Arthur Ilarloeker and Mrs. 1'lmma Hunt, relief soeiety president, presi-dent, attended union meeting in St. George Sunday. Mrs. Woodruff Holt and infant Mm are home from the Iron -mmty hospital. Several of our townspeople attended at-tended the party given in Gun-loek Gun-loek Saturday in honor of F. J. Howler. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. T. Truman have moved here for the summer. Mr. and Mrs. Justin Lamb passed pass-ed through here Saturday pn-roule pn-roule to St. George. Mr. Lamb's sisters. Mrs. Lamar Grey and Mrs. Robert Hammond accompanied accom-panied them to Enterprise and spent Sunday visiting with friends hero. A flower garden club is being organized hero among the women, tor the purpose of making our town more livable and more inviting in-viting to the few who come our way. The following temporary officers of-ficers were appointed Tuesday to set things started: Barbara Win-sor. Win-sor. chairman... Theresa Huntsman, Hunts-man, secretary: Krmn Holt. Dora Clove. Marcia Truman, committee members. A large crowd of Enterprise ivople spent Wednesday at St. Ooorgo doing Temple work. Woodruff Holt has gone to Susenville. Calif, where he has employment for the summer. Representatives from the bureau of public roads, the state road commission, and the Nevada state commission of roads, were here Tuesday on an inspection tour. Nothing definite has been done relative to the new highway, but Enterprise is still hoping that the decision will bo in her favor. |
