Show Dixie '!' Given New Coat Of Whitewash To Cover Red Put On By B.A.C. The "D" on the black hill is white again, after being discolored discol-ored by red paint for a period of two weeks, the discoloring having hav-ing been done by B. A, C. rooters the night before their homecoming homecom-ing football game with Dixie. The X club, Dixie college service serv-ice club, and the Diana club, one composed of girls of the school, led in the renovation. The X club supervised the whitewashing, and the girls furnished the lime. The work was done under the direction direc-tion of Jack Rencher, student body president. The lights will also be repaired in the near future. The cost of repairing, and furnishing new lights and reflectors will be well over eighty dollars. |
