Show Center Ward Meet In Tabernacle Well Attended Sun. Much happiness was expressed by Center ward members to be able to assemble for Sunday school and ward conference on the stake Tabernacle main floor. There was a large attendance and the improved im-proved lighting and seating of the room added materially to the services. This being the first session of ward conference since the establishment estab-lishment of the Center ward, special spe-cial interest was given this program. pro-gram. Moroni B. Langford represented repre-sented the stake presidency in conducting the program, and made a brief address on ward responsibilities of the day. Officers Offi-cers of stake and ward were presented pre-sented for sustaining vote of members by Lenzi Sullivan and ward reports were made by Bishop Bish-op Byron H. Taylor, counselors Arlo Prisbrey and Leo G. Smith, and auxiliary heads, Amber Schmutz of the Relief Society, Ruth Snow, and Von B. Cottam of the M.I. A., William Brooks of the Sunday school, Elaine Harris Har-ris of the childrens' Primary, A. K. Hafen, geneology and Jesse Short of the work projects. Closing Clos-ing remarks were by M. B. Lang-ford. Lang-ford. Seth Harper conducted the singing, sing-ing, with Mae A. Pace at the organ. Many expressed joy seeing Mrs. Pace at the Tabernacle organ once more. Special numbers num-bers included, "God Bless This House", by Hannah C. Pike, and a chorus by the singing mothers prepared by Viola Gentry with Mrs. Evan Cottam accompanist. |
