Show Yeyo Sirs. James F. Cottam Reporter Mrs. Florence Truman of St. George is visiting her daughter, Mrs. June Chadburn, for a few days. Funeral services for the infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Alpine Chad-burn Chad-burn were held last Tuesday. The infant died a few hours after birth. The mother is in the hospital hospi-tal at St. George and is reported to be recovering nicely. Charles Bucholz of Salt Lake City returned home Thursday after af-ter spending several days last week as the guest of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Bunker. Mrs. Mattie Addis and small son, Bruce, returned to their home in San Diego after spending the past several weeks here caring for her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John H. Bowler, who have both been confined to their beds. They are both convalescing nicely at present. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Chadburn of Moapa Valley spent several days here last week visiting relatives. rela-tives. Mrs. Donald Judd and small daughter of St. George were visiting visit-ing over the week end with Mrs. Judd's parents. Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Ben-jamin Chadburn. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Cottam and family of Moapa Valley were in town last week visiting relatives. rela-tives. Most of our townspeople attended attend-ed the rodeo at Enterprise last week. Miss Maxine Jones of Enterprise Enter-prise is a guest at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Von Jones. Sunday school stake officers. Mr. Butterfield and Miss Carter, were visitors at our Sunday school Sunday. Miss Ferl Bowler of Gunlock visited Tuesday with Miss La-Verde La-Verde Chadburn. The Children's Story Hour conducted con-ducted each Thursday afternoon by Mrs. John Hunt of Gunlock. is very well attended. The long drouth has been broken the past week by several sood storms. They came just in time to save the fruit crop and break the long hot spell. |
