Show Pine Yalley 'Mrs. E. S. Beckstrom Keporter Prof, and Mrs. Edgar M. Jensen Jen-sen of Provo are spending the week here at the home of Mrs. Jensen's father, Reuben Gardner. Mr. Gardner has been visiting in the northern part of the state for the past few weeks and returned re-turned home with them. Miss Ida Bracken of Salt Lake City returned home on Monday after visiting here for several days with her sister, Mrs. Emma Beckstrom. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Jones of Cedar City spent Sunday here, visiting relatives. They were the guests of her father, Reuben Gardner. Mr. Jones was one of our speakers in sacrament meeting. meet-ing. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Bracken of Central and Mr. and Mrs. Darrel Bracken of St. George, spent the week end here as guests of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Malchus. Mr. and Mrs. Clawson Burgess were visitors in St. George Sunday. Sun-day. The Misses Mildred Bentley and Ramona Cannon of St. George were week end guests of Miss Roma Snow. Vere and Lee Beckstrom were business visitors in St. George Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Heber Truman of Enterprise visited Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. N. R. Frei. Miss Bessie Snow is spending a few days at the Jones ranch near Enterprise as the guest of her cousin, Mrs. Willard Jones. In compliment to Mrs. Orson Hall, a large number of our townspeople attended the funeral of her mother, Mrs. Philena Pickett in St. George Friday. Miss Helen Cannon of St. George is the guest of Miss Edna Rae Gardner. Miss Adelia Hall, who has employment em-ployment in Salt Lake, is spending spend-ing the week here with her parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Orson Hall. She came down to attend the funeral services for her grandmother, grand-mother, Mrs. Philena Pickett. Elmer Christian of St. George is employed here plastering the summer home of Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Bleak. Miss Maude Cannon of St. George is a guest of Misses Lenore Hafen and Cherril Snow. Supervisor Blaine Bettenson and Mr. Johnson of the Forest Service in company with Ranger Baldwin, spent two days last week working in this vicinity in the interests of soil conservation. Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Sullivan and family of St. George spent Sunday here visiting at the home of her parents. Mr. and Mrs. P. E. Beckstrom. Their small daughter, daugh-ter, Mary Ann, remained here until Tuesday. |
