Show Plans Announced For Municipal League Convention Invitations Sent To All City Officers With 2-Day Program listed Plans for the entertainment of the Municipal League officers and their wives during the Municipal League convention in St. George on August 31 and September 1 are well under way according to M. M. Bentley, general chairman. Letters of invitation were sent out last week to all city officers and members of the league inviting invit-ing them to come to St. George during the convention and partake par-take of Dixie's hospitality. The letter is as follows: The City of St. George and its Civic Organizations extend to you and your partner a hearty invitation invita-tion to attend the Thirty-second annual Convention of the State Municipal League of Utah. The City of St. George deems it an honor to have the privilege of entertaining the Municipal Officers in convention and will make certain that everything possible will be done to make your visit here a pleasure long to be remembered. In addition to the regular program, pro-gram, a trip to Zion National Park, (through the courtesy of Zion National Park officials and the Union Pacific), a tour to Las Vegas and Boulder Dam, on Saturday, Sat-urday, September 2, (through the courtesy of the City Commission and the Chamber of Commerce of Las Vegas), our program committee com-mittee has included a splendid pageant to be held at the St. George Temple grounds. This is to be preceeded by a lunch at one of the finest open-air dance pavilions in the state. ' May we have the pleasure of associating with you on August 31 and September 1.
