Show Rockville Noses Out Local Team Sunday By 4-5 Score The St. George baseball team took a 4-5 loss from Rockville Sunday, July 30, in one of the closest and most spectacular games played play-ed here this season. The game was characterized by superb pitching on the part of Abner Demill of Rockville and clever base stealing by Leland Brooks, who played left field for the Dixie squad. Fans who came out with the expectation of seeing a roerry-go-around surely must have been surprised at the breeze whiffed up by the St. George boys as they fanned the air to strike out 17 times during the game. Although Demill has been consistent con-sistent in -fanning other opposing players this season, in one game getting 23, it must be said that to take 17 from such a formidable array as Dixie presented Sunday means that he certainly was hitting hit-ting his stride. The Dixie front was not without with-out its amount of color, either, for Leland Brooks fairly dazzled the fans with his daring in stealing steal-ing bases on the Rockville boys.
