Show Sprouse-Reitz Store Opens In New Building The St. George Sprouse-Reitz store, under the management of L. H. Nazer, opened this morning at 10 a.m. for business in its new location in the Pace building on the corner of Main and Highway 91. All new fixtures and counters were built to go with the new building with the result that a very pleasing appearance has been effected. With plenty of light from skylights sky-lights diffused through clouded glass, the light tinted-green walls give a very pleasing effect. Counters are painted light gray with a red trim. They line the walls and 9 double counters are placed crosswise of the building. All goods are well displayed and easily accessible to the customers and clerks. The building is air conditioned so that it is comfortably cool on the hottest day. Thick cement walls, celotex ceilings with rock wool insulation above the celotex make cooling and heating of the building easy. Lights are white with crome trim. Plenty of them have been installed to give light on winter days. Those who are familiar with the various stores of the Sprouse-Reitz Sprouse-Reitz type declare that this is one of the finest this side of Salt Lake City. The public is invited to come and "cool off" while looking look-ing over the store in its new location. |
