Show South Ward Plans Organized Era Drive In sponsoring the Improvement Era drive in the St. George south ward for 193S-39. the officers of (he Organization have appointed n salesman to visit every block, with the understanding that the canvas would be completed Ibis week. Speaking for the officers, Byron Taylor, president of the Young Men's department, says: "It is not our purpose to go into the homes and sell Era subscriptions, whether or not the family is Interested. However, we feel that with their past, knowledge of this church magaino. the people who are able to subscribe, should feel that we are offering (hem another opportunity oppor-tunity to supply their homes wilh desirable reading material. Furthermore, Fur-thermore, wo feel that this opportunity op-portunity is greatly increased in the fact that they may pay their subscription in produce, a distinct advantage to many, who have the nmdinv and do not have the $2.00 to spare otherwise.
