Show St. George CCC. Everything possible is being done by the officers of CCC Company Com-pany 2558 to keep the members of the company well provided with wholesome entertainment during the period of quarantine. Friday-evening Friday-evening of last week Chaplain D. J. Henry presented a religious program in camp acompanied by picture slides and a song fest. Although it was the first time the entire company has joined in community com-munity singing, Chaplain Henry-placed Henry-placed the company- in second place for their singing ability. First place laurels can be brought to company 2558 with a little more practice. Saturday evening Mr. Wadsworth, from Hurricane, presented an open air show to the company. Aside from the main feature, news reels, and a comedy filled a most interesting in-teresting program which was enthusiastically en-thusiastically received by the boys. A great deal of appreciation was felt toward the officials of the camp for arranging this splendid form of recreation. Recently Captain Klenk purchased pur-chased some additional baseball equipment in the form of gloves bats and a set of portable bases, which add materially "to the pleasure plea-sure of playing the game of baseball base-ball and Softball. |
