Show Toquerville Mrs. Kowena Slack Reporter Mrs. Anna Larson returned from a visit to Arizona and Mexico Saturday. Mrs. Mina Stout of Hurricane is here while her mother, Mrs. G. M. Spilsbury is in Salt Lake City receiving medical treatment. Mr. and Mrs. George Bring-hurst, Bring-hurst, who have been in northern Utah for the past three months, returned to their home last week. Sunday graduation exercises were held for the Seagulls. Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Mclntyre, who have been living in Spring-dale, Spring-dale, returned here to make their home. Wednesday night, the Hurricane north ward presented the play, "What Every Daughter Learns", in our ward. Mr. and Mrs. A. F. Stout of Hurricane visited on Sunday with their darter, Mrs. Samuel liringhurst Tuesday evening the M.I.A. gave their closing social. The time was spent in dancing. Mrs. Ida Hollbrook of Cedar City arrived here Tuesday to visit with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Samuel C. Dodge. A number of boys and girls from our town attended the music festival at Beaver Saturday. Satur-day. The young people from here spent Sunday afternoon in Oak Grove. They reported a good time. E. K. Slack and son, Kenneth, spent the week-end here with their family. They have been living liv-ing in Cedar City. Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Jones of LaVerkin spent Thursday visiting here with friends and relatives. Mrs. Ola Spencer of Orderville is visiting here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. S. T. Stapley. |
