Show Over 600 Attend Dance At Santa Clara Wednesday Over 600 dancers attended the opening dance of the Santa Clara Open-Air Dance pavilion held last night. The dance was free with the public being invited to come and inspect this new recreation facility which will be operated under the direction of Otto Fife and Ken Ence. Free pop, baloons and noise makers helped to make it a gala event. Add this to the unusual lighting effects, ' Howard Cannon and his orchestra and the fine floor and beautiful setting and you can understand why everyone every-one reported a good time, declares Mr. Fife. It is planned to have dances each Wednesday and Saturday nights during the summer. Especial attention will be given to controlling all rowdiness so that the general public can enjoy itself, it-self, reports Mr. Fife. For further details see ad in this issue of the News. h |
