Show Paul Thompson Saved j From Drowning by Brother Paul Thompson, youngest son of George T. Thompson, was saved from drowning last Wednesday night by his brother, Heber Thompson, almost immediately after the boy had completed a swimming test given by the elder Thompson at the LaVerkin hot springs. Young Thompson had had more than average difficulty passing the official scouting test in swimming swim-ming for the first class rank. He had worked hard for some time to learn to swim, and finally to do the required 50 yards. It is thought that in his anxiety to pass the test he had overworked physically and had become exhausted. ex-hausted. His heart temporarily gave way, and he sank. Heber, noticing that the boy was not in sight, soon located him and quickly applied scouting and red cross training.
