McGregor was called to Littlefleld Tuesday evening eve-ning to the bedside of Miss Ruth Tuft of Monroe who is teaching school there. She was seriously ill with flu but is now showing some improvement. Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Cox of Cedar Ce-dar City, Mr. and Mrs. Clifford McMullin of Leeds, Mr. and Mrs. Malin Cox of Pine "Valley and Leornal Gardner and Royal Hunt and wives of Central were visitors in St. George Wednesday. The Athena club was entertained entertain-ed last Friday night by Mrs. Guy Hafen and Mrs. Arthur K. Hafen at the home of the former. The rooms were attractively decorated with Christmas colors and this scheme was carried out through the ' entire evening. Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Peterson came in last Thursday from Bis-bee, Bis-bee, Ariz., to visit Mrs. Peterson's Peter-son's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Hardy. Mr. Peterson left for Salt Lake City on Saturday on receiving receiv-ing word of the illness of his mother there. Mrs. Peterson will remain here over the holidays. |
