The Wadsworth Bros, theater was formally opened last night when the chamber of commerce sponsored a short, snappy program pro-gram as a tribute to the builders, build-ers, after which the management presented "The Singing Pool," one of the best picture releases obtainable. ob-tainable. Atkin, Jr., president of the chamber of commerce, introduced in-troduced the following speakers: W. O. Bentley, John T. Wood-bury, Wood-bury, Jr., N. J. Wadsworth and Calvin Dalton, who had charge of construction. Mr. Bentley, in behalf of the college," and Mjr. Woodbury, speaking speak-ing for the city, both expressed appreciation for the foresight shown in erecting the fine building build-ing and the practical value of such a structure to St. George. Mr. Wadsworth asked for the cooperation and support of the people in making worthwhile the efforts put forth in erecting the building. |
