Show ENTERPRISE Enterprise, Aug. 27. Last Tuesday the members of the Relief Society surprised Mrs. Bertha Barlocher, the occasion being her birthday. A good program was rendered, games were played and ice cream and cake were served. There was a big birthday cake with sixty-four candles, and everyone enjoyed a piece of it. A very good time was had by all and much credit is due the committee. Last Tuesday the F. U. N. club, numbering twenty-five girls with bedding bed-ding and provisions started in two trucks sight seeing to Cedar Creaks, Bryce, Grand and Zion canyons. They returned last night reporting a very enjoyable time. The married folks all went in- cars up to Ed. Hall's and had a corn roast. After the corn was roasted and eaten, Mr. Hall went in his melon patch and picked melons enough for the crowd. Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Gluyas and son Leslie, Mrs. Kate Empey and two sons were visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bentley last week. Mrs. Meriba Laub and Mrs. Dora Shafer returned to their homes in Logan. Marion Laub and Miss Merri-bah Merri-bah Terry accompanied them home for a short visit. |
