Lovette of CoffeyviDe, Kan., on August Aug-ust 22. Mrs. Lovette was formerly Miss Jennie Empey of this place. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph W. Prince and children, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Bryner, Mr. and Mrs. John Schmutz, Sr., Mrs. Arthur Hemenway and Mrs. John Schmutz, Jr., are attending the New Harmony homecoming this week. S. C. Whitney of Las Vegas and B. L. Whitney and R. E. Whitney of Goodsprings left for their homes today to-day after spending a few days here because of the serious illness of their mother, Mrs. George Whitney. George Baker of this city and Mrs. Rhoda Laub of Enterprise returned Sunday from Joseph where they attended at-tended the funeral of their father Orange T. Baker. Word has been received here of the birth of a daughter to Professor and Mrs. J. William Harrison at Spring-ville. Spring-ville. James Wadsworth and son Leo of Panaca, Nev., returned to their home Wednesday after a short visit with Mr. and Mrs .N. J. Wadsworth. John Housten and daughters Misses Freida and Vera of Lovell, Wyoming, are visiting in Washington. They will attend the Cooper family reunion in Washington before returning home. Mr. and Mrs. Vasco M. Tanner who spent several days with Mrs. Tanners' mother, Mrs. Annie Atkin, here returned re-turned to their home at Provo Wednesday. Wed-nesday.
