Show Mr. and Mrs. A. P. Mitchell, Clyde Fowles and Archie Miller returned Wednesday from Ogden where they spent a few days on business. Dixie college concert at Dixie Hot Springs Sunday September 9, 8 p. m Free. Adv. Misses Ruth and La Vem Allen came in Wednesday from the Grand canyon to spend a few days here. Dr. and Mrs. A. J. Hutchings left Tuesday night for Richfield, to visit relatives. Dr. Hutchings will go on to Puffers lake for his vacation. They expect ex-pect to be gone about two weks. A telegram was received here last Saturday stating that Mrs. Arthur F. Miles had undergone an operation for poisonous goiter Friday at the Mayo Brothers hospital at Rochester, Minn., and was getting along nicely. Frank Crosby, formerly a resident of St. George, has been added to the faculty of the University of Utah as an instructor in physical education. After graduating from the Universit; in 1925 with B. S. degree. Mr. Crosby taught a year and then went back to Columbia University where he has been studying for his master's degree. |
