Mr. and Mrs. Rouse Hall and family returned to their home at Ogden Sunday after visiting Mrs. Hall's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Sullivan here over the holidays. Mrs. F. Edgar Mineer came in Monday from Overton, Nev., to spend Leadership week here. She is the guest of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Al-bert E. Miller and family. Win. and Morrell Squires came in Tuesday from Salt Lake City for a short visit with relatives here while en route to southern Arizona. Clarence Schmutz left Saturday for Salt Lake City to resume his studies at the University of Utah after a two weeks visit with' relatives rela-tives and friends here. Maurice and Walter Miles who. are attending the B. Y. U. afteT spending the holidays with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. George E. Miles, have returned to Provo. Mr. and Mrs. Walter F. Smith entertained at a dinner party at their home Tuesday evening. The guests included Prof, and Mrs. Arthur Manning, Prof. WJm. Peterson, Peter-son, Miss Afton Odell and Orval Hafen. Mr. and Mrs. George W. Worthen, Wor-then, Sr., Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Worthen, Miss Lucille Worthen and James Peterson spent Saturday Satur-day at Zion. While there they made the trip through the recently re-cently completed, tunnel. Charles Sullivan had the first finger of his right hand cut off and the second finger cut into the cord when his hand slipped into a saw while sawing wood at the home of Martin L. McAllister at 2:30 Wednesday afternoon. He was rushed to the hospital where the cuts received treatment. A year ago the same hand was badly cut when caught in machinery at the shearing corral. Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Worthen and Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Pendleton Pen-dleton entertained the Woodward school faculty and their partners at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Snow on New Year's Eve. Leadership week visitors here include in-clude Mr. and Mrs. G. B. Snow of St. Thomas, Bishop and Mrs. Howard Pulsipher of Mesquite, and Isaac O. Brown and Gray Robinson Robin-son of Kanab. Paul Wilson and Misses Rebecca and Ruth Wilson and Laura Barn-hurst Barn-hurst came in Monday from' Hatch to-attend Leadership programs at the Dixie College. W. J. Iverson returned' to his home at Mt. Trumbull on Monday after visiting his daughter, Miss Nellie, here.
