Show COUGARS WIN BY NARROW MARGIN The Brigham Young University basketball team, rated among the highest in the Rocky Mountain conference this season, barely eked out a victory over Dixie here last Friday night by a score of 36 to 32. The Cougars, except for a short period toward the end of the first quarter, were hard pressed by the junior college team. In the first few minutes of play Dixie lost the game uue uw" .uu.-.j find the basket. Rushing the university uni-versity players from the whistle. Dixie kept the ball within striking strik-ing distance of the B. Y. U. goal, but missed enough setups which if made, would have won the game bv a large margin. The Dixie guards played stellar ball, but the forwards shewed a woeful lack , of basket shooting ability. ; After this brief spurt by Dix.e. B. Y.
