Show DIXIE PIONEER DIES AT SALT LAKE Mrs. Annie K. Mayerhqffer, 74. devoted de-voted mother of 14 children and faithful faith-ful church member most of her life, died at her home, 340 Elizabeth street Tuesday morning. Mrs. Meyerhoffer was born in Zurich, Switzerland, in 1853, and emigrated to this country 57 years ago. Soon after reaching Utah, she and her late husband, John M. Meyerhoffer. when to Utah's Dixie where they aided in pioneering that section. Eleven of her children are living. They are Miss Flora Meyerhoffer, W. W., J. LeRoy and Albert G. Meyerhoffer, Meyer-hoffer, all of Salt Lake; Mrs. L. C. Jones. Bingham; Mrs. W. I. Nelson Moore, Idaho; Mrs. D. G. Davis and Mrs. N. R. Price. Venice, Calif.; John E. Meyerhoffer, San Diego, California; Robert F. Mayerhoffer. Lark, and Henry C. Meyerhoffer. Rockland. Ida. One brother James Meier. Sr.. and 25 grandchildren also survive. Deseret News. |
