Show WASHINGTON Washington, Mar. 27. Bishop Vivian Viv-ian Frei and several members of the Santa Clara ward met with us in our meeting Sunday afternoon and gave a very interesting program. The school teachers gave a party in honor of Mr. and Mrs. P. T. Viceant Tuesday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Israel Neilson, Jr. A jolly good time was had. Mr. and Mrs. Alma Bastian of Segard and Gaston Bastian of Salt Lake City were visiting here last week. Born, a son to Mr. and Mrs. Charles Averett March 20. Mrs. Mira Funk spent last week at St. George visiting with Mrs. Amanda Sorenson. Mrs. Vilate Neilson entertained the "Les Amies" club Thursday afternoon. Mrs. Mary Hafen has returned from provo bringing with her a new baby girl. Word was received Thursday by Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Larson that a son was bom to Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Larson at . Vegas, Nevada. Leslie Isom of Hurricane spent the week end here. WJllard Nisson was a business visitor here Friday from Predonia, Arizona. Mrs. Minnie Paxman has returned from St. George where she has been the past few days. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Wittwer spent the week end here from Minersvllle. Mrs. Ellen Westover who has been visiting there the past three weeks returned re-turned with them. Archie Tobler has purchased a new Chevrolet truck and is making his regular trips to Salt Lake with early garden stuff. Mrs. Antone Neilson entertained at a birthday party Tuesday in honor of her little son Junior. Born, a daughter to Mr. and Mrs. John Adams March 25. Born, a girl to Mr. and Mrs. Walter Schmutz March 26. Mr. and Mrs. Haven Paxman spent the week end at Enterprise visiting relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Sandberg were' visiting at St. George Sunday. Rosella Tobler spent Saturday and Sunday here from Virgin where she is teaching school. |
