Mr and Mrs. Lavon Peterson and daughter, Dorleen, of Bar-stow, Bar-stow, California, visited here for a few hours on Tuesday of last week at the home of Mrs. Peterson's Peter-son's uncle, George Corbridge. Mr. and Mrs. Everett Doty, of Glendale, Nevada visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Reber part of last week. Mr and Mrs. Ernest Leavitt. Mr and Mrs. Sam Leavitt, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Leavitt and sons, Odell and Wendell, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Reber attended a family reunion at Salina, Utah last week-end. Mrs. Clyde Reber visited relatives rela-tives at Mesquite the past week. Miss Iva Banks returned to her home at Minersville on Friday after spending the past three weeks "visiting at the home of her uncle, George Corbridge. Ritchie, and Orson McKnight returned home Sunday from Las Vegas, where they spent a week visiting relatives. Mr. and Mrs. John Ricks and daughter, Mary, who have spent the past eleven months here man-j aging the Cool Pool Station, left Friday for Utah. Lynn McKnight now has charge of the station. Mrs. Afton Reber returned Sat-' Sat-' urday from Texas, where she spent a month visiting her parents. par-ents. Mr. and Mrs. Clark McKnight took a load of melons to Santa Clara, Sunday. I Stake Sunday school superin-1 tendent W. H. Lyons, of Over-! ton, visited here on Sunday. Bishop and Mrs. Harold Reber1 and family drove to St. George, Sunday evening to see Mrs. Reb-er's Reb-er's mother, Mrs. Ed. Syphus, who is ill. Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Wells, of Logandale, were visitors here Sunday evening in behalf of the winter's M. I. A. work. Miss Clarissa Smith went to St. George today. |
