Show ENTERPRISE Enterprise, July 11. The Fourth of July was very pleasantly spent here. Firing salute at daybreak, meeting at 10 o'clock, children's dance at 2 o'clock, novelty and children's races at 3:30 and ball game at 5 o'clock between the married mar-ried and single men. the married men being defeated. A picture show and dance at night completed the day's program. pro-gram. Mr. and Mrs. James Barnum of Las Vegas, Nev.. are visiting their children here. Mr. Barnum has just returned from a short term mission to California. Califor-nia. Word has been received here of the birth of. daughters to Mr. and Mrs. George Spendlove and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Adams, in St. George, July 7. Last Sunday we had Elders Leo A. Snow and John T. Woodbury, Jr., with us as home missionaries. Mrs. Woodbury Wood-bury accompanied her husband. Last Friday night a number of our citizens went to veyo to swim. A very enjoyable time was had. After swimming swim-ming they all had lunch. Mr . and Mrs. Syrene Fackrell and sons Redrick and wife and Delbert, made a short visit here. Mrs. Orvilla Hafen and children of Santa Clara are visiting Mrs. Hafen's sister, Mrs. Heber Holt. Lafayette Terry has returned home from northern points where he has been for some time. Hyrum Lamb has returned from northern points where he has been shearing. Mrs. Fred Bagshaw is here visiting from Pioche, Nevada. |
