Show OLD FRIEND VISITS M. H. Graham of Provo and A. E. Hutchings, representing the Mergenth-aler Mergenth-aler Linotype Co., were visitors of the News editor Monday evening. They had been attending the Utah State Press Assn. convention and run down from Zion National park at the close of the convention, Monday evening. ' It is 32 years since the editor saw Mr. Graham. He was then working on the Provo Engineer while the editor was working on the Provo Dispatch, a morning and semi-weekly paper, later an evening and semi-weekly which busted up in 1895. The main object of Mr, Graham's visit was to get in touch ,his son Willis, who is keeping company with one of Dixie's charming daughters in this city. We are mighty glad to renew re-new old acquaintance and friendship. Mr. Hutchings took advantage of being be-ing so near to St. George to run down and give our linotype a look over and add an attachment for it. He is a very pleasant and agreeable gentleman and the editor was pleased to make his acquaintance. ac-quaintance. Mr. Graham and Mr. Hutchings left Monday night for Cedar City intending to spend the night there. Wilis joined join-ed them there Tuesday morning. |
