Show "PICKLES," VERY FINE "Pickles" or "In Old Vienna" was presented by the East Ward at the Opera House last Thursday night and again Saturday night, with Earl J. Bleak and Dilworth Snow directing the opera and Mrs. Mae McAllister assisting assist-ing with dialogue and stage. A complete com-plete orchestra under the direction of Earl J .Bleak furnished the music. The comedy parts were taken by David Woodbury. John Cottam. Dil-wonh Dil-wonh Snow and Grace Starr, who received re-ceived much applause from the audience. audi-ence. The other actors and actresses, Kenneth Ken-neth Juddt Vernon Snow. Burnell McAllister. Mc-Allister. Juanita Secgmiller. LaGene Morris. Olive S. Reeves. Ellis McAllister McAllis-ter and Alta Holt did exceptionally well and pleased their large audience. Extra numbers were a vocal solo by Edna Nelson. Readings by Beth Gardner Gard-ner and a Spanish dance by Thelma Bleak. |
