Extreme in Obstinacy Against the police of Grenoble, France, an extraordinary allegation has been made. A ten-year-old girl fell Into the River Isere while playing with her little brother. The boy ran to a kennel where a dog was chained up, to send him to the rescue. A police po-lice officer appeared, and, seizing the dog, declared that as It was not on a lead the owner must pay a fine. The boy pleaded with the official, but he refused to release the dog.
