Show BUNKERVILLE BUNKER VILLE, Feb. 25. The Panaca high basketball team met the Virgin valley high last Friday night. After two extra periods the teams were tied, and in the third period Panaca scored four points winning the game. A bundle shower was given for Mrs. John Pulsipher at the home of Mrs. Vincent Leavitt Saturday evening. eve-ning. Twenty-five guests were present pres-ent and an enjoyable time was had. In our sacrament meeting last Sunday we were visited by Mr. Young and Mr. Pugmire, both teachers in the Muddy valley high school. The Primary grades entertained with a program on Washington's birthday anniversary last Friday afternoon. af-ternoon. All the parts were well rendered. ren-dered. Twenty guests were present. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Wittwer of Hurricane and Mrs. Bertha Wittwer of St. George were here visiting relatives rel-atives and friends over the week end. The road committee gave a dance after the ball game last Friday night for the purpose of raising money to put in culverts. Ice cream was served. Miss Rosie Hardy has returned to her home in St. George after spending spend-ing a few days here. Mr. and Mrs. Harley Adams have returned from St. George with their small son, Lynn, who has been under un-der the doctor's care for some time. He is improving. Mrs. Wm. Leavitt went to St. George with her small child for medical med-ical treatment. He has been ill with the flu and other ailments since Christmas. Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Waite are enjoying en-joying a visit from their daughter, Miss Hazel. |
