Show NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS State of Utah, Office of State Road Commission, Salt Lake City, Utah, February 28, 1929. Sealed bids will be received by the State Road Commission of Utah, State Capitol, Salt Lake City, Utah, at 2 o'clock p. m. Friday, March 15, 1329, and at that time publicly opened for construction of section of road near Ivins Bench, in Washington County, the same being State Project No. 204 between St. George and Shiv-wits. Shiv-wits. The length of road to be constructed construct-ed or improved is 0.6 mile, and the principal items of work are approximately approxi-mately as follows: 7400 cu. yds. Unclassified Excavation Excava-tion 2900 cu. yds. Borrow. Plans and specifications are on file in the office of the State Road Commission. Com-mission. Salt Lake City, and at District Dis-trict Engineer's office at Cedar City, where they may be reviewed by prospective pros-pective bidders. Specifications, proposal, propo-sal, bidding blanks and plans will be furnished at Salt Lake City, on depositing de-positing $2.00, which will be returned, providing contractor submits an acceptable ac-ceptable bid and returns the plans within seven days after bids are received. re-ceived. Any additional information may be secured at the office of the State Road Commission. Each bidder must submit a letter from an approved approv-ed surety company guaranteeing to furnish said bidder with required bond. The right to reject any or all bids is reserved. Cash or certified check for Three hundred and no100 dollars, (S300.00) made payable to the State Road Commission Com-mission must accompany each bid as evidence of good faith and as a guarantee guar-antee that if awarded the contract, the bidder will execute the contract and eive bond as required.
