Show GUNLOCK GUNLOCK, Feb. 24. Mr. and Mrs. Angus Jones gave their wedding dance last Friday night. There was a large crowd present. Lunch was served and a good time had. Many presents were received by the newlyweds. Leland Martineau, Henry Bowler and Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Leavitt went to St. George Saturday. Wilford Holt and Eugene Leavitt went to St. George yesterday on business. busi-ness. Mr and. Mrs. Duane Leavitt are back from Pioche, Nevada, where they have spent the winter. Mr. Leavitt Leav-itt worked in the mines there. They intend leaving in a few days for Ogden where he has rented a farm for the summer. Mr. and Mrs. John Gibbs of Beryle spent a few days here visiting the latter's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Amos Hunt. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Leavitt and Mr. and Mrs. Jeremiah Leavitt went to Santa Clara Saturday to visit friends. Bounty Agent W. F. Smith was here Saturday to meet with the farmers farm-ers to select projects to be worked out this year. Some of the Relief Society and Primary officers came with him to hold meetings with the organizations here. They returned to St. George that evening. We had with us in sacrament meeting Sunday 'President W. O. Bentley and J. LeGrande Bowler. |
