Show GRAFTON Grafton, Oct. 10. Archie Ballard and Miss Pugh, teachers at the Moccasin Moc-casin Indian school, and Mrs. Alice Ballard spent Sunday here with Mrs. Afton Ballard. Morton Morris of St. George, road man for the county, has been working work-ing a few days on the hills north of Grafton, digging for gravel beds. An October social for the beginning begin-ning of M. I. A. work was given Friday Fri-day night. A very enjoyable time was held. Alvin, Mamie and Rena Jones left Saturday morning for Minersville to visit their sister, Mrs. Paul Worthen. Alvin Jones returned last week from Glendale, where he has been working on the road. Miss Mamie Jones returned home Friday from Zion park where she spent the summer. Alfred and Lorenzo Russell have been north with peaches and molasses. molass-es. Afton Ballard left Friday for Cane Beds to gather steers for the sale. |
