Show GUNLOCK GUNLOCK, Jan. 20. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Leavitt, Mr. and Mrs. Jeremiah Jere-miah Leavitt and Mrs. Sara Talbot went to Mesquite last week to visit relatives. Howard Leavitt made a trip to Cedar Ce-dar City Wednesday to take his sister, Mrs. Sara Talbot, who has been spending a few days here visiting, but has returned to her home at Holden. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Leavitt went to Veyo Sunday. A heavy snow is falling but is melting melt-ing about as fast as it falls. There is about 3 inches on the ground now and the storm is not yet over. Mrs. Rob Piatt of New Castle is spending a few days here visiting relatives. rel-atives. Mr. and Mrs. Wilford Holt and Mrs. Rob Piatt went to St. George Saturday. Satur-day. Quite a lot of the men from here have been working on the road between be-tween Veyo and Shem, but all came home Saturday night on account of tne storm. Henry Bowler spent several days last week doing missionary work at Rockville, Short Creek and Cane Beds. Mrs. Lee Martineau went with him to visit her father, Bishop Slack. Bishop F. J. Bowler made a trip to Enterprise last week on business. Rodney Truman of St. George was here last week for a truck load of wood. |
