Show ENTERPRISE ENTERPRISE, Jan. 21 Bishop Wilson, Wil-son, Mr. Hall, Mr. Woodbury and Mr. Humphries are our missionaries the former two are visiting the western part of town. They held a cottage meeting at the home of Amos Holt Saturday night and will hold one tonight to-night at at the home of Luther Terry. The latter two are visiting the east part of the town and held a cottage cot-tage meeting at the Henry Barnum home Saturday night. Last Friday night the dramatic art class presented the play, "Corney Takes a Chance." After the show a dance was given. Saturday night after the show, the Pioche ball team met our boys here and were defeated by a score of 24 to 32. The annual meeting of the stockholders stockhold-ers of the Enterprise Reservoir and Canal Company was held for the purpose pur-pose of electing officers. Joseph Jones was elected president, Roy Adams vice president, B. C. Farnsworfh secretary, William Lund, Sr., treasurer, and Parley Par-ley Moyle, Arthur Crawford, George O. Holt and William C. Staheli directors. The heaviest snow fall in years left 28 inches here on the level. The cars that came over from Pioche with the ball team are still snowbound snow-bound and cannot get out. The mail is being brought in with teams. However, How-ever, all are rejoicing over the prospect pros-pect of water for the coming year. |
