Show SANTA CLARA SANTA CLARA, Jan. 22 Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Graff and family of Provo spent several days here last week visiting vis-iting at the home of Albert Graff. Chester Graff of Provo spent the week end here with his parents, Mx. and Mrs. Theodore Graff. Mrs. Julius Wittwer entertained at a party at her home last Tuesday night. Elders John R. Wallis and Charles R. Sullivan have been our home missionaries mis-sionaries for the past week. Several cottage meetings have been held and visits to each family have been made. They have been enjoyed by all. Eugene Fordham of Salt Lake City spent the latter part of last week here visiting her mother, Mrs. George Staheli. A telegram was received here last Thursday night by Mrs. Theodore Graff telling of the death of her three-year-old grandson, at Salt Lake City. He died of pneumonia. Revilo Puller of Pine, Arizona, is spending a few days here with Mrs. Edward Stucki. Lazelle Stucki and Lorraine Staheli left for Caliente last Wednesday to find employment. The weather has been very disagreeable disa-greeable the past few days. We had a badly needed rain last Sunday. Emil Gubler spent the week end at Virgin on business. Miss Voile Stucki entertained at a party at her home last Friday night. Mrs. Victor Iverson of Washington spent Saturday here visiting her mother, mo-ther, Mrs. Ernest Reber. Most of our townspeople attended sacrament meeting last Sunday at Ivins. Miss Marie Graff spent several days this week in La's Vegas visiting friends. |
