Show HURRICANE HURRICANE No. 4. A cos ' lime ball was given ty the M. I. A. last Thursday evening. Prizes were given for the best individual, the best couple and the best group. In the corners of the hall were boous where pumpkin pies and cocoa were sold. A clever group of costumes was in evidence. A junior dance was given last Friday night by the Primary association. associa-tion. John Spendlove of Provo , and J;m Spendlove of Richfield are in town visiting vis-iting relatives and friends. Miss Cleo Brooks has returned to her home -at Long Beach after spending spend-ing some time here visiting relatives. Born A son to Mr. and Mrs. Linden Lin-den Heaton, Friday, November 1. All concerned are doing nicely. Merle Brinkerhoff and Gene Russell of Glendale and David Ballard of Cane Beds were in town today. All of the teachers attended institute at St. George Friday and Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Fawcett attended attend-ed the funeral of Mrs. Hannah Nixon at St. George Saturday. A fire which threatened to be serious seri-ous occurred at the home of J. W. Imlay last week. It was caused from defective wiring, but was extinguished before any great damage was done. |
