Show TO BUILD ROAD TO NAVAJO LAKE A survey is to be made this fall for a road to be built by the forest service from the present pres-ent Cedar-Long Valley road to Navajo lake, which is becoming increasingly popular as a fishing fish-ing and camping resort. This survey will determine whether the road should be made on the north or south side of the lake,, either of which would have some advantages. The present road is on the south side and is in a very bad condition. An improvement there will be welcomed by those who make occasion frequently to go on the mountain to camp and fish. When the road is built the forest service expects to plot some small lots for summer homes and as soon as funds are available to pipe water to them for the benefit of recreationists. |
