Show ST. GEORGE AS A CONVENTION' CON-VENTION' CITV. Probably no other town in the state is better prepared to entertain en-tertain convention and show the visitors more than is St. George. And still so far we have had none. The Legion convention a year from now will be the first one. There is no doubt that the pT-qprvicp rnpn rnn vpn t i mi will lip -watched by the officers of other organizations of the state, and if it is a success, we may expect ex-pect others. It will be our one big opportunity to get in and boost. Another convention in prospect pros-pect is that of the peace officers offi-cers of the state, of which organization or-ganization Sheriff Win. Brooks is a director. Gatherings of this hody were held in Logan in 1929, Springville in 1930, Og-den Og-den in 19 31, and next year will be held in Price. It is probable prob-able that it will come to south-era south-era Utah in 19 33. By that time some town in this part of the state is due to get the annual meeting of the state pharmaceutical association associ-ation of which Dean Clark is president this year, and there is no reason why St. George should not be the town. |
