Show Whiterocks Virginia Ferguson Phone 353-4584 Resident takes European tour Ednal Simmons has returned from '. a three-week tour of Europe. She went with 156 members of the San Jose ' Chorale Group, and toured Holland, France, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, Belgium and Germany. The group ' traveled by bus through the European ! counties, and when asked which sights impressed her the most, she said, "The two castles we went through, the river trip up the Rhine River, the Alps and the cathedrals, which were . everywhere." The return trip took 11 hours. She stayed one night in Los Angeles then flew to Salt Lake City and took a bus , back home. 3 The Whiterocks Branch party was held last week at Bacon Park with between bet-ween 50 to 60 members attending. It rr was the annual summer party and was ; a cook-out. It was kicked off by a ! Pioneer Parade by the Primary ' children, after which everyone en- , joyed hamburgers, ice cream and cake.;.,. I : Joye Lynne returned from Arizona where she has been vacationing for the past two months. Jeff Bagley attended Roosevelt West Stake Blazer Day Camp held at Ben-; Ben-; nett on Bolton's farm. He won first in first aid, second in knots, third in maps and compass. Blayne and VaLois Morrill went to Provo to view the Osmond program on America. Betty King went to Hagerstown, Maryland for a week's visit with family fami-ly and friends. The Sun Dance was held last week ; with many visitors in attendance. Dean, Coene, Cynthia, Belinda and ! Benjamin Bagley drove to St. An-! An-! Ihony, Idaho for the funeral of Dean's grandmother, Jane Bagley, 95. While ! there they stayed with Coene's mother, Helen Simmons, and visited ; other members of Dean's family. They ! returned home after three days. ,.! Tom, Betty and Jamie Cloward y drove to Salt Lake City to visit an or- thodontist for Jamie who is now wear- "g braces on her teeth.
