Show UBIC craft show welcomes exhibits If you have a craft item you are especially proud of why not show it off at the UBIC Craft Show. Quilts, macrame, ceramics, needlepoint, needle-point, crewel, knitting, crochet, wood or leather work, models, or any other types of crafts are welcome. Bring all items to the First Ward church house, 32 So. State, Roosevelt, between 8 and 10 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 4. The craft show will be held upstairs. Items will be judged from 12 noon to 3 p.m. the same day. All items must be picked up on Saturday, Aug. 6 between 4 and 5 p.m. The Craft Show will be open to the public Thursday, Aug. 4 from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m., Friday, Aug. 5 from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and on Saturday, Aug. 6 from 12 noon to 4 p.m. New to the Craft Show this year will be craft demonstrations. Friday, Aug. 5 there will be a demonstration on making sock dolls from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 6 from 1 to 3 p.m. will be a tole painting demonstration.
