Show Harry Pearson Hacking Service honors Harry Hacking Harry Pearson Hacking, 65, of Vernal Ver-nal died at the Ashley Valley Medical ' Center July 22, 1983. Born Jan. 22, 1918 in Vernal, he was the son of John S. and Mary Elizabeth Hall Hacking. He was a sheepherder, veteran of the U.S. Army, World War II and a member of the LDS church. Survivors are his brothers and sisters, Mrs. Alice H. Murray of Vernal, Ver-nal, Mrs. Jennie Hatch of Boulder, Colo., J. Clyde Hacking and Iowa C. (Ike) Hacking both of Vernal and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services were Tuesday, July Ju-ly 26 in the Maeser 2nd Ward chapel. Leo Jorgensen gave the family prayer and Bishop John Smith conducted the service. Ramond Peterson gave the invocation. in-vocation. Wayne Hall sang, "The Great Speckled Bird." Following remarks by Bishop Smith, Garth At-wood At-wood spoke. Wayne Hall sang, "Medley of Cowboy Songs," and Hugh W. Colton spoke. Lorna M. Condon played a violin solo, "Perfect day." Lorin Hacking gave the benediction. ' Iowa C. Hacking dedicated the grave. Burial was in the Maeser Fairview Cemetery Pallbearers were Darrell Hacking, Barry Hacking, Larry Wm. Murray, Mike Hacking, Matt Hacking and Mitch Phillips. |
