Show Special Olympics ; chairman chosen The Utah Special Olympics Area Three advisory council reappointed Rose Anna Miller chairman for the coming year. Other officers chosen in the council's coun-cil's monthly meeting, Feb. 15 in Roosevelt are Woodruff K. Reynolds, vice president and Peggy Smith, treasurer. The eleven member board led by area coordinator Floyd Horrocks, is making plans for the upcoming spring games set for Friday, April 22 at Union High School. Also announced were state games at Brigham Young University on May 13 and 14, and international games in Baton Rouge, La., in July. Two boys from the Basin area will be taken to St. George for a month of training train-ing in June for participation in the international inter-national games. Local Special Olympians Olym-pians are presently engaged in a bowling bowl-ing tournament. |
