Mr. Storms Boy, owned by Dempsey Day and ridden by Troy Day placed second and Chargin Mary, owned by Douglas Murphy and ridden by Anderson, Ander-son, nabbed third. Fallon Pacific, owned own-ed by Dick Moore and ridden by Sadler, placed fourth at 18.61. Another close encounter of the racing rac-ing kind took place in the 40 yard quarterhorse maturity as Utah Line Backer, owned by Jim Nebeker and Phil Brotherson, and ridden by Max-field, Max-field, edged Game Lark, owned by Buster Hayner and ridden by Sadler, 20.61 to 20.63 for first place. Fire Comet, Com-et, owned by Bob May and ridden by Anderson, placed third at 20.68.
