DESCENT FROM GLORY: FOUR GENERATIONS OF THE JOHN ADAMS FAMILY by Paul C. Nagel (nonfiction) the private history of the Adams family, America's most distinguished family from 1735 to 1927, presenting new views of the Adamses as husbands and wives, parents and children. Covers all generations, the great and near-great along with the spendthrifts, misfits, and neurotics. The author concludes that the Adams family heritage-the need to excell destroyed many family fami-ly members and handicapped those who did manage to succeed. TALKING WITH YOUR CHILD ABOUT SEX by Dr. Mary Calderone & Dr. James Ramey (nonfiction) sex educator Calderone, and sex researcher Ramey, have written what may bcome the essential sex education book for children from birth up to adolescence. Their direct approach advises parents to deal with their child's sexual development as naturally and lovingly as they do with other aspects of growth. They list the stages of sexual development and divide their suggestions by age group. Questions and answers appropriate to each stage are then presented.
