Show r v -. . . I - 1 : - 4 Ada Anderson Ada Anderson dies in Vernal Ada Rhea Hansen Anderson, 76, of Vernal died at the Ashley Valley Medical Center April 26, 1983. Born July 31, 1906 in Castle Dale, Utah. Mrs. Anderson was the daughter of Paul Soren and Clarissa Ellis Seeley Hansen. She married Albin Emanuel Anderson Sept. 30, 1925 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Tem-ple. He died Aug. 17, 1954. She was a homemaker, member of the LDS Church, and loved yard work and gardening. She held many auxiliary positions posi-tions in the LDS Church and was a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneer and Cultural Arts Club. She operated the Mode-O-Day Dress shop in Vernal for 20 years before retiring. She is part member of the Vernal BPW organization. Survivors are son and daughters, Stanley Albin Anderson, Mrs. Darrell (Norma) Wardle, Mrs. George (Wanda) Calder all of Vernal, Mrs. Larry J. (Evelyn) Hampton of Honolulu, Hawaii and Mrs. Verlin (Elaine) Vincent of Jensen, Utah; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Lester Hansen of Salt Lake City, Ci-ty, Garden Hansen of Altamont, Melba H. Eldridge of Roosevelt, Clara H. Pearson Pear-son of Roosevelt, Paul S. Hansen of Stockton, Calif., Mrs. Orlan (Vera H.) Gagon of Provo, Utah and Mrs. John (Flora H.) Davito of Bishop, California. Funeral services were Friday at the Vernal 9th Ward Chapel. A family prayer was given by Rodney S. Anderson, and Bishop Kenneth R. Aycock conducted the service. Darrell Wardle gave the invocation. invoca-tion. Bishop Aycock gave some remarks. Denice Angulo sang "That Wonderful Mother of Mine" accompanied by Ruth Walker. Oleta White gave a tribute to Mrs. Anderson, Denice Angulo and Janiel Gardner sang"In the Garden". C. Lawrence Fox spoke. Elizabeth Sowards, Marva Lent and Lois Erickson sang "God Be With You." Bruce Caldwell gave the benediction. Prelude and postlude music was by Maureen Johnson. Burial was in the Vernal Memorial park. Don Brown dedicated the grave. Pallbearers were M. Scott Hampton, Rodney S. Anderson, Randy D. Searle, Lorn Ruppe, Kent E. Ross and John Richardson. Honorary pallbearers were the Cultural Arts Club, DUP and her home evening group. |
